We are a team of 6 girls competing in the F1 in Schools World Finals in Malaysia in September. We have qualified for this by winning the Northern Ireland Finals. We won the Professional Class and also took the Best Engineered Car and Fastest Car Trophy.
We are trying to raise the money required to cover our Travel Expenses and also to allow us to manufacture a car that will compete at the highest level.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for us and we are hoping that we will be able to show how educated and able we are as engineers for the future. We also have a chance to obtain a scholorship for an Engineering Degree at any University through an interview process at the World Finals.
