Lailan Lee Medical Fund

Lailan Lee arrived early in the morning on March 24, 2017.  Jessica and Tyer were so excited to have a little family, and adding Lailan only increased their love for one another.  What a perfect boy, who brings joy everyday to this special couple.  

Jessica and Tyler are both very hard working.  Jessica continues her career as a CNA caring for elderly residents at a local extended care facility in Urbana.  Tyler is proud to have been accepted into a painting apprenticeship, and he is excited to excel at his trade.  

Unexpectedly, a tragedy occured on October 13th.  Lailan is currently in the ICU at a Carle Hospital.  He is being cared for by an exceptional team of physicians and nurses.  

Clearly, this was not what Jessica and Tyler had planned.  Neither one has left the hospital, but the expectation is that this will be a long road.  We are asking for any help, so that they can continue to be at their son's side.  





Lailan has a birth mark of a heart on his hand.  We love this, he is so special and has certainly grabbed all of our hearts.  


This money will be used for Lailan's medical bills and to allow for Jessica to remain with Lailan.  Since she just returned to work, her vacation time was used for her materntity leave.  Please consider a gift, in any amount.  Nothing is too small.  We appreciate you and will keep you updated as we move forward in this long journey.
