Lady Buckeyes Air Race Classic Team

The Lady Buckeyes, are three members of our Women in Aviation chapter at the Ohio State University. We started Ohio State's very first Air Race Classic team last year and flew noncompetitively to learn the ropes of the race. This year we've ready to race competitively! The Air Race Classic is an annual cross country race for women of all ages that promotes and educates current and future female pilots. By flying accross the country in terrains unlike our flat Ohio area, we hope to learn valuable skills for our future aviation careers as well as reach out to the communities along the way and encourage girls to follow their dreams and inspire the next generation of aviators.


The money we raise for this competition will go toward registration fees, hotel costs, and aircraft rental.
