Rehab Baby & Injured Birds
Rogers Wildlife Rehabilitation Center (RWRC) is a non-profit wildlife rescue organization dedicated to rehabilitating injured, sick or orphaned birds. We are the only all species avian rehabilitation facility, USDA-licensed farm sanctuary, and wildlife preserve in North Texas. We provide professional, humane, comprehensive veterinary care and support to all birds brought to RWRC for treatment. In the last year, RWRC has treated and released over 4,200 orphaned and injured birds. The average rehabilitation time for birds is less than three months, with some birds staying up to a year.
Medical expenses and food bills for our birds skyrocket each year. It’s necessary to give each species an appropriate diet, so we must buy large quantities of fish, mealworms, seeds, vegetables, fruit, rats, mice, and hay. RWRC relies on support through tax-deductible donations and our trained team of dedicated volunteers.
With baby-bird season right around the corner, we are working in preparing our clinic for the up-coming and overwhelming influx of patients. Funding for this is critical this time of year. Please help support our endeavor by donating.
I know there are some more animal lovers out there! PLEASE SHARE with your networks, HOAs, veterinarians, and other animal rescue groups. Rogers Wildlife is the ONLY non-profit of it's kind in N. Texas. They need us to DONATE and SHARE so they can keep saving birds. Thank you!
I operate the DFW Wildlife Coalition www.DFWwildlife.org and we take 10,000 calls each year from the public who have found wildlife need of help. Rogers Wildlife takes 99% of our bird calls - songbirds, raptors, hawks, owls, mallards, ducklings, even a few farm birds. There is nowhere else for 5,000+ injured, orphaned or ill birds to go to in the North Texas area. Rogers Wildlife is critical to our birds in the DFW Metroplex area.
Help my dog and cat please, they are very hungry

Do you have a paypal address I can send money to? It's the easiest way I can send funds, and I would like to donate.
Please donate if you can to keep this much needed organization in operation. They are the only organization of it's kind in North Texas, and they have an overwhelming job, especially in the Spring when many babies arrive. I am told this place is a must see if you are ever in the area.
I can't say enough (GREAT THINGS HAPPEN HERE) about this lovely organization. If you have the money to spare please consider a donation to Rogers Wildlife Rehabilitation Inc. This little gem of a place is 20 minutes outside of downtown Dallas. My kids have taken two, very young orphaned baby birds to this place. You can walk around and it's like a little mini (free) zoo. You can make a 1/2 day out of it with your kids. There are free roaming injured birds walking around (peacocks, ducks, geese, chickens) as well as cages and cages of sick injured birds, including owls, falcons, you name it. You can visit and your kids can place their donation in a box in the office where they get to see where the baby birds are kept,in little drawers with their injured, orphaned friends until they are well enough to graduate to a cage outside and then eventually be returned to nature.
I have brought two injured birds here. This place blew my mind! Sooo many different species of birds, very well run. If you are in the area, a must visit. They also have a wish list on their website. They need any and all kind of help as the sheer number of birds they rescue is quite impressive!
