4 year old Colton Buchanan had a critical fall on January 27th 2015. What started as a typical day of playing and being a rambunctious 4 year old took a tragic turn when Colton fell and hit his head. What was thought to be a typical rough housing boy, bump & bruise sent Colton into a seizure that resulted in a life flight to the childrens hospital in Orlando. Colten had severe swelling of his brain that had to be relieved & was rushed into surgery. Although Colton has been released to his home he will require extensive rehab and equiment that insurance will not cover. Colton will need to relearn to talk and walk in which we are all hopefull for God speed in his recovery and comfort. He continues to have seizures and requires a helmet to protect his head from further injury. The insurance will not cover this and its of dire need. The Buchanans face many long trips to doctor and therapy appointments, all this on top of several other recent hardships that have left them grasping for even basic necessities such as fuel and food. Their car recently broke down with no funds to have it repaired on top of countless other recent hardships. Colton's father is retired from the military and has served his country in honorabe fashion exibited by any Marine. It is my hope to help provide them with some finacial relief to get them through the near future so they may concentrate on Colton's recovery and rehab to whatever level God has in store. Please donate any amount you can, nothing is to small and will help further Colten's recovery and allow us to give back to a soldier who's already given and sacrificed so much.
