Mark Fleming's Medical Expenses
Donación protegida
After living with Ulcerative Colitis for over 10 years, Mark was diagnosed with colon cancer in August 2014. Surgery was very quickly scheduled for September 2015, and when it was completed, Mark had lost his colon, appendix and multiple lymph nodes to cancer.
Chemetherapy followed for the next 6 months, in order to ensure that no residual cancer cells were left behind.
In August 2015, a colonoscopy of his remaining lower intestines was performed, and it was determined that a proctectomy was required to prevent any further cancer from forming in the future. That operation would also make his ostomy a permanent feature. On September 21, 2015, that operation was performed. While very successful, his recovery has not been as easy as his first operation.
In all, Mark and his family have $30,000 in medical bills for his cancer treatments and surgeries over the past 18 months, as well as multiple other family medical issues, that have not been covered by insurance!
Please give what you can to take this financial burden off Mark, Michelle and their children.
Thank you for your support!
