Chad's Medical Fund

This account is being set up for our uncle Chad Thibodaux his wife Shelia and their son Brody. Chad was in a very serious head on collision Wednesday January 28, 2015. Because of someone’s negligence he is in very critical condition and had to be flown by Air Med to Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge. His car is totaled and his injuries are extensive. He underwent a 7 hour surgery last night and is looking at having to undergo at least 9 more surgeries in the near future. His right leg is crushed, right foot is broken, left leg and ankle are broken, right arm is broken and left hand is broken . There is a very good chance that he will lose the bottom half of his right leg. He will be in the hospital for several weeks and from there he will be required to go to a nursing home for extensive therapy. Not only will medical bills be piling up, but the expense of Shelia having to travel back and forth to the hospital to be with him and of course coming home to stay with their sweet baby boy at night. They are very caring and giving people. They have helped so many people in their time of need. They have taken people in, raised her nephew and her nieces as her own children and never looked for anything in return. Now it is our time to give back to them and show them that their unselfishness has not gone unnoticed and that we love and support them and wish Chad a speedy recovery so he can be home with his family where he belongs. Please keep them in your prayers as he has a very long road to recovery. But also please learn from this disastrous situation. NOTHING is so important that we should speed or disobey traffic signs someone’s life is always at stake when you disregard them. And usually it is the innocent person in the situation that suffers the most. We praise God for sparing our uncle as the doctors have told us he is lucky to be alive.
