We have made an impact!! Our organization has hosted six galas in two years; each of them memorable in their own right but each bigger and better than before. It has been amazing, and we cannot be more ecstatic about the outpouring of love and support!!! Onward and upward as we look forward to our 2017 tour and beyond!!! "Together we'll make history as our legacy lives on"!!!
Who We AreWe are the Legends of Vinyl, an organization of pioneer club DJs who originated the art of spinning record vinyl that has laid the foundation and has paved the way for the latest and currently changing dance music avenues of today. We were there in dance music's infancy. Think late 1960s, early 1970s. The list of members of the L.O.V. DJ Hall of Fame has been donated to the Library of Congress in Washington, DC.
We are also an informational service dedicated to teaching the history of the DJ pioneers who revolutionized the industry.

What We Are Doing
In April of 2015 we hosted our very first induction and awards ceremony in Philadelphia where we recognized DJs, studio engineers, radio personalities, promoters, producers, and artists.
Our second gala red carpet event was held in August 2015 in Fort Lauderdale. It was a "Night Not To Be Forgotten" featuring an afternoon seminar with two distinguished panels; an awards ceremony honoring iconic and legendary individuals in the music industry; and a fabulous after party.
Fast forward to May 17, 2016, and to Adelphia in Deptford Township, New Jersey, where people came from near and far in bad weather to attend this unforgettable celebration. August 2016 brought us once again to Hunters in Fort Lauderdale for another spectacular evening, and then on to Club Remix in New York City for the very first time in September for what turned out to be our biggest and brightest gala to date. The support, the talent, the friendship, the passion, the respect, the commitment, and the love that we all have for each other and for the music industry was real, and it was felt by everyone who was there!
Why We Are Doing This
The Legends of Vinyl was created to recognize everyone in the music industry, not just Disc Jockeys. We recognize Recording Artists, Recording Engineers, Record Promoters, Producers, Club Owners, Lighting Designers, and everyone who has had something to contribute. "We Are Family".
Why are these awards so important? They signify that you are held in high regard BY YOUR PEERS. And there is no higher honor than that!! Each award comes from the heart of our organization. We are giving back by taking the lead and leaving our legacy in the right place by giving the respect and recognition to the founders; the people that paved the way.
The 2017 Boston DJ/Artists Hall of Fame Seminar, Awards Ceremony and After Party!!!!!!!! May 16, 2017 at Venu Boston
We started the year 2017 on the right note, honoring the wonderful Disco Diva Linda Clifford in Miami, Florida, on January 21. We are eagerly anticipating our tour which, by popular demand, will commence in Boston. This will be our first visit to this fabulous city rich in history and talent. As always, the evening will begin with an informative panel composed of Legends in the music industry. The gala will continue as we honor "Boston's best" and enjoy top live entertainment from some of our favorite artists. One of our Legendary DJs will close out the night for your listening and dancing pleasure at our always fabulous after party. Mark your calendars for June 20 at Adelphia in Deptford Township, NJ; and for September 12 in New York City.
