Stella needs surgery

This is my baby girl Stella.  She turned 6 months old today.  Stella is an exceptional animal, who provides much love and comfort to the members of Centre Crest Nursing Home where she works as a volunteer Therapy Dog,  she is also a beloved and treasured member of my family.  My daughters think that she hung the moon.  Stella was recently diagnosed with a birth defect called Ectopic Bladder.  Simply put, the bladder and her kidneys are not connected as they should be and do not function properly.  To fix this problem she needs to have surgery.  After searching we have found a vet that will perform the surgery.  The cost is anywhere from five to seven thousand dollars.  Stella's work as a therapy dog and her place in our family are undeniable and remarkable.  We simply want her around, she is part of our family and a huge asset to the nursing home.  There is another problem which makes the cost of the surgery unmanagable for our family.  Following the birth of our second child Mia, I experienced profound hearing loss and required hearing aides.  My hearing has continued to decline over the last three years, and I am again in need of new hearing aides.  The cost of hearing aides are about four to five thousand dollars.  We come to you asking for whatever you can offer to help us save Stella.  Sadly, without the surgery her quality of life is undesireable and the financial burden of both the surgery and my hearing aides are to much to bear.  Your support will be forever remembered and much appreciated.
