Stuck Without a Vehicle

My daughter and I have been homeless for more or less 5 years. We finally found a room to rent, but are in the middle of nowhere. We had a vehicle when we accepted this place to rent. Unfortunately, it was totaled when some lady ran into the side of it. Since we now have no vehicle, we can't even get to the store to buy food and milk. There aren't any buses, taxis, or public transportation. Nothing is within walking distance of where we are either. As long as we don't have a vehicle, I cannot get a job. I had a job, but, subsequently, lost it when our vehicle was totaled. My daughter can go back to work once another vehicle is obtained. I don't know what to do!!

My daughter, Jennifer, and I will become homeless as of 7 April. We have worked very hard to stay off the streets, but it seems we are headed right back there.

I have a job, but without a vehicle, I only work 1 or 2 partial days a week. For my boss to pick me up, it takes him 1-1/2 hours from the time he leaves his house, picks me up, and we arrive at work. Therefore, if he is only working part of the day or the weather is bad (snowing or raining), he doesn't pick me up. I don't need my boss to be at work for me to go to work, but without a vehicle, it is impossible for me to work more hours.

We just found out the landlord hasn't paid the electric bill for the trailer we are living in with his schizophrenic uncle. We've only lived here 2 months and the electric bill is well over $1,000. Obviously, it hasn't been paid in months, long before we moved in. Without electricity, nothing works in a trailer, not the toilets, the water, the stove, the heat, nothing. We have already been informed that if the electricity is shut off, the doors to the trailer will be barricaded and locked and we will not be allowed to enter.

My daughter has also gotten a job. She has been hired as a Web Manager and Graphic Designer. She is to set up Facebook as well as all social networks for a new auto detailing business. This will be an ongoing job for her and an excellent opportunity for her to use her skills. Her boss is already impressed with her work.

Without a vehicle, we cannot even drive to a hotspot so she can still do her work; I cannot work enough hours to help us get another place to live; we will lose everything we own in this trailer; we will be living on the street in a box, if we can find one; my daughter can't get to the doctor's or the pharmacy to pick up her heart and anemia prescriptions.

Your prayers and any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is an update of what is going on with us. Our once-a-week ride to wherever we needed to go; i.e., doctors, MRI's, x-rays, groceries, prescriptions, etc., is no longer available. The man who was helping us is 80 years' old and his wife doesn't like him making this long drive to help us out, so she has basically put a stop to any help. He told us if we were hungry to call 911!!! 911, to my knowledge, doesn't help with food shopping!

My daughter has neurological problems that we had a doctor working on for her. Now that we don't have a vehicle, she can't continue with the testing that was being done. She lives with depilitating headaches that don't let up. Since we no longer have a ride to the doctor, he won't prescribe anything to help her out. He also had set up physical therapy for her. That isn't available to us either without a vehicle.

I never thought it would be this bad not having a vehicle. I am very concerned about my daughter's health. I don't know which way to turn for assistance. We can't get any assistance cuz we need to go to the various assistance places. That is impossible without a vehicle. There aren't any buses that run out this way that will take us to where we need to go for assistance. We were told that we need to be at the assistance centers NLT 8 a.m. if we want any kind of help.

I was offered a job, but I need a vehicle to get to the office to work. I asked about someone picking me up and noone lives out this way, so a ride is not an option.

I am really at a loss as to what to do. We are getting further and further in debt. Rent is due and I don't have any way to get to a job to put the rest together.

Now our only ride has said that he can no longer give us rides due to the fact that we live too far away.
