Kyle's Second Chance

Hell my name is Kyle Quick. I'm 30 years old from Pinole California. Since 2010 I've been dealing with chronic autoimmune disease that has sometimes made life challenging. I have many symptoms of hypothyroidism, chronic fatigue syndrome, and brain fog and these were the main issues I had prior to this last January. My body has a difficult time detoxing and is easily triggered, but from 2010-2016 I was living a semi normal life. 

Recently discovered I have chronically been exposed to mold where I live, and ever since January my health problems have gotten severely worse and I've been on a downward spiral. I now have arthritic pain, joint popping/cracking/looseness, digestive problems, periodontal disease, as well as other symptoms. Every movement I make my joints are cracking, sometimes feel like they're barely hanging on by threads, including my spine. I feel like an 80 year old man in a 30 year olds body.... it's very painful, difficult, uncomfortable, and most of all depressing. I had to quit my job as a caretaker because the physical pain is too much to handle. Mold is known to exacerbate autoimmune issues which I was already dealing with, as well as EDS (Ehlers Danlos Syndrome)  which it seems I'm developing a form of due to the connective tissue weakness/deterioration. 

My low income medi-cal insurance will NOT provide treatment or testing to help with my mold issues. Usually mold accompanies Lyme, Candida parasites, heavy metals, and the insurance refuses to test me or treat me for ANY of these. I must seek treatment from a functional medicine practitioner as well as a mold/Lyme disease specialist to determine how I can treat these symptoms. All the costs of functional medicine practitioners and the testing they prescribe is ALL out of pocket.....appointments can be several hundred dollars each, and various testing to find proper diagnosis can be in the thousands for a handful of tests. Mold isn't something that can be fixed that easily, if ever.....it can and often takes YEARS to fully get all the infections cleared out. It's not the path I wished to take, but I need to do anything I can do I can regain a normal life. 

I'm in chronic pain 24/7 and can no longer do my caretaker job due to my current physical ailments. All I want is another chance at life and being healthy again. I'd give anything to have my health back, even 50% improvement would mean everything to me. Material things aren't what's important in life, if you have your health you have everything, and I'll give my all to get it back or die trying.
