Kwas Family Assistance

My dear friend, Kevin Kwas passed away last week at 47 years old after a lengthy battle with kidney failure that stemmed from juvenile diabetes. He had been in and out of hospitals for the last two years, but his health continued to decline. With multiple organs failing and being told recently that he was not eligible for the kidney, pancreas and liver transplants that he needed to survive he came home last week under hospice care to spend his final days with his precious family and friends. Kevin passed on October 5th with his loving wife, Gigi and their beautiful 15 year old daughter, Kaitlyn by his side. He is now at peace and no longer suffering in pain. Kevin was an amazing man, a great husband, father, brother, son, uncle and friend and was truly loved by all that knew him. Heaven gained a true angel. Because of his declining health Kevin hadn't been able to work for awhile and Gigi had to miss a significant amount of work as she stayed by Kevin's side and took care of him throughout his battle. With Kevin's passing there will no longer be disability income coming in and finances are going to be even tighter with just one income. During the last few weeks the air conditioning in their home stopped working and they've been told it can't be repaired and will need to be replaced. Additionally, their garage door won't open and needs repairs. With funeral and medical expenses and other bills that need to be paid they can't spare the money for these repairs at this time. The costs of these repairs will be approximately $6500. They are truly such an amazing and loving family and I consider them to be some of the best people that I have been blessed to know. Gigi isn't the type to ask for financial help and just plans to go without the AC for now (not an easy thing to do in Florida). I pray that they can get some help in easing this burden during this extremely difficult time which is why I setup this GoFundMe campaign. My goal is to raise $10,000 for them to cover the needed repairs and to assist with any other expenses that they may have at this time. Any amount that you are able to contribute is greatly appreciated as are your prayers. Thank you so much for your prayers and any support that you can provide for this family.
