Krystal Yamaga

My neice, Krystal Kimiko Yamaga was walking in the crosswalk of 36th St. & Thomas Rd. in Phoenix, Arizona when she was struck by a vehicle heading east bound driven by Ignacio Ernesto Cruz Otero at 5 am, Tuesday morning. She was taken to a nearby hospital where she died of her injuries, caused by Ignacio Ernesto Cruz Otero, who Phoenix Police said drove to a nearby Walgreens, supposedly pretending to be a bystander, he fled in his vehicle after witnesses pointed him out to the police.  The officers caught up to him 200 yards away & arrested him. This thing hit my niece, left her dying in the street in an attempt to avoid getting arrested.  Krystal was an amazing young women, her smile & love of life will always be in our memories...R.I.P. Krys, we love you.
