Olivia Tassinari's Medical Expenses

Please allow me to share with you the story of my niece, the sweet little warrior, Olivia Tassinari. Since my sister-in-law announced her pregnancy on Christmas Eve 2013, Olivia has been a light in our family. Her much-anticipated arrival brought so much joy, not only to the lives of her parents but to all who know her. She greets everyone with her gorgeous smile and infectious laughter. This child lights up any room she is in, and is a true blessing to her parents, family, and friends.
On February 18, Olivia's parents, Andrea and Jason, had their world turned upside down when they received the devastating news that their precious 18-month-old daughter had a brain tumor. The egg-sized tumor at the base of her brain was removed the next day, and shortly thereafter they received a diagnosis of aggressive medulloblastoma. Olivia is set to begin an intense 6-month course of chemotherapy in Boston on Wednesday, and the road ahead is full of uncertainty.
Andie and Jason, both soccer coaches, are the definition of dedication. Their days are spent building up others and working for their community; their devotion knows no bounds. These two wonderful people have worked to fundraise for others - in fact, Andie plans to run the Boston Marathon this year to raise money for the Risa S. Rosengard Foundation, which raises funds and provides opportunities to families who have lost loved ones to cancer. Ironically, she was running for this foundation before she knew how drastically her life would be affected by this terrible disease.
It is my sincere hope that this page can help ease the financial burden they are facing. They give so much of themselves and now we have the opportunity to give to them. Ever the optimists, Andie and Jason know there is light at the end of the tunnel, but the tunnel itself is long and dark. Please help relieve some of their worries so their focus can be 100% on their daughter.
