Kroger Stop Selling Rabbit Meat

Hello. My name is Anna MacLennan, and I started the petition, Kroger: Stop Selling Rabbit Meat . I started this page on GoFundMe because I need donations to promote my petition. This will greatly help my cause because it will ge the word out that Kroger is selling rabbit meat.
My petition calls for Kroger to stop the sale of rabbit meat in all of their stores. Rabbits are the third most popular pet in America, which means they deserve to be treated like a pet, not killed for their meat and furs.
This does not mean in any way that other animals (cows, chickens, pigs, etc.) should be killed for their meat. Rabbit meat just isn't as profitable for Kroger, and therefore, it is a more reasonable request to ask them to stop.
A company called Pel-Freez supplies Kroger with the rabbit meat they sell, but Pel-Freez has a record of doing atrocious, barbaric things to the rabbits as they slaughter them, including breaking their rear legs, improperly stunning them, hitting them, hanging them upside down, and attempting to decapitate them through the means of a slow sawing motion that puts the rabbits in excruciating pain. Assuming that, as usual, the workers fail to render the rabbit completely uncouncious, the poor bunnies are forced to undergo this extrememly painful process while fully concious and aware.

This cause means a lot to me on a very personal level, as I have two pet rabbits who are a part of my family named Lex and Gus. They are incredibly affectionate, and wonderful companions, and I cannot imagine how anyone could possibly condone the slaughtering of their species. Rabbits can be amazing companions if given the chance.
As mentioned above, the donations given will go mostly to promote the petition. Some of the donations will go to pay for printer ink, paper, etc. for posters. The remaining money will be used to promote the Facebook page.
I need these donations as soon as possible, because with every passing day, more rabbits are slaugtered in the name of meat. We need to stand together to tell Kroger to stop selling rabbit meat.
