Dear beloved friends and family
Thank you first of all: for your love. I appreciate it more than you could ever know. My beloved family appreciates it so deeply and profoundly. You know we’ve been persevering through a great deal lately. We all are – in this country and world. God has a plan and I know some day it will all make sense.
As many of you know, I’ve been on a long journey with Follicular Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma treatments beginning in 2016 that is not over yet and the trial is becoming more intense. After two years of allopathic oncology treatment and radical dietary changes, I have rebounded with every chemo attempt causing multiple blood transfusions and hospitalizations in the cause of stabilization. I’ve prayed & meditated long hours during this present hospitalization, trusting that God will guide me on His healing path and I’ve settled on one particular oncology clinic in Arizona. But I need financial help as this treatment center takes an integrative approach and so doesn't accept my insurance other than for some basic labs.
Here’s the ask: If you are in the position to, I simply don’t have enough funds necessary to cover the three-month housing and treatment expenses that health insurance won’t cover.
I’m not at all comfortable asking for money. But I’m confident God has put it on my heart to remind myself and everyone else that we are not alone and we are not meant to be alone. Isn’t this a chief lesson of COVID-19? My wonderful husband Allen and I have been on a remarkable journey of healing over the years, walking with both our own family members and others at our integrative medical clinic in Columbus, and I need to ask for assistance for this story to completely play out, as I believe in choosing life and choosing it abundantly.
Again, love and prayers are the most important thing. It’s such an honor to have you in my life. I’m so consoled to know that even in this pandemic, you welcome news about how this struggle is going and appreciate this ask for what it is: the truth in love! I know not everyone is in the position to give, but if you are able to donate money for this next step: Thank you a thousand times over.
I ask because God seems to have opened another door. I pray it is life-giving and an opportunity to transform hope into a glorious witness to God Almighty. I trust He is inviting me to ask you to be a part of His work here, whatever it is, in a deeper, more faithful way. I also profoundly believe that the best medicine is provided both through the plants of the earth as well as the intellect of man through chemical medications-the synergy of both.
