Kris Shinney Funeral Funds

Kris was a lover of love; his presence warmed a room up. His hugs were like no other; his conversations were uplifting and positive. (Even if he did most the talking) He had a free spirit and could become friends with a total stranger in a matter of seconds. He was one of the few people who were always there. No matter what time of day. You asked Kris for a favor; he would do that and more. He made the world and Marblehead a much better place by simply existing. I know how many people loved him and will miss him, so I ask for your help.

As most of you know, he has struggled with addiction for many years. As I type this out and admit that my brother was an addict, I shake in fear for many others who are still with us. We tried to help him in many ways; we just didn't expect him to leave us so soon.

Kris deserves a proper burial and memorial. I don't want this time to be about this horrible disease. I want to celebrate his life and his love for life. He was kind; he was caring, he was giving.

We as a family are very tight in money, and we want to give Kris the proper goodbye he deserves. We want to remember the short but the one hell of time he was given with us.
