Kressyda and Cameron Ming Benefit
On February 25, Kressyda Ming was enjoying family time at Purgatory Resort skiing with her family and friends. Kressyda passed away following a tragic skiing accident. She was a beautiful person inside and out, bringing joy and selfless service to countless people. This tragedy has left a hole in many peoples' hearts.
Kressyda leaves behind her husband, Cameron, and 5 children ages 10 and under.
Cameron and the children appreciate your thoughts, prayers, service, and well wishes. This fund serves to help with funeral costs and the care of her children. ALL proceeds will go directly to Cameron for the families support.
In addition to this account, a Wells Fargo Benefit account has been setup under the name:
Benefit Memorial Fund for Kressyda and Sterling C Ming
Account ending in 8120
I have never gotten personal on social media. I am very private and this is very uncomfortable for me. Even as I type, I struggle and hesitate. However, it would be an injustice to not share my experience.
Like hundreds of others, I attended Kressyda’s services Friday. What a miraculous meeting! Kressyda, Cameron, and family members: you have changed hundreds of people lives for the better. To those unable to attend, I assure you that not a single person left that service without a desire to be a much, much better person. We ALL wish we could be ½ the person Cameron is and Kressyda was. Although I have only known you briefly, some of my best friends are your best friends. It has been truly humbling to be in the background watching friends, family, and a whole community surround Cameron and his family as angels. This community includes so many, not just in a geographic area. I know that each of you who have donated here have been touched by the Ming’s in numerous ways. I want to personally thank you. Your selflessness has changed me for the better. I have a better understanding of what’s important in my life.
All those who have surrounded Cameron in any manner, you are angels placed there to lift him and his family up at this time. I saw this lifting occur over the past week. Although I am not an appointed messenger, I do know that many people are humbled to see this goal reached. I have heard that Cameron has expressed several times that he wishes he could express his gratitude to every single individual who has helped. Although the “goal” has been met, I encourage you to continue to support Cameron and his family. How does one really put a “goal” or “value” on the needs of this family?
As for myself, I have simply been the recipient of much needed humility by being one who just happened to know how to get online and create this campaign. You all are the heroes and angels.
Thank you for your support!
Obviously, this is a very difficult situation in un-chartered territory for all involved. As you can imagine, needs change rapidly. There are so many unknowns for Cameron and how he will move forward taking care of his 5 children as a widowed Father. Please continue to support this wonderful family to aid in Cameron's ability to care for his young family.
I have never met your mom but from all the beautiful comments and words people are saying about her she was a kind person who was enjoying every minute she had with you. As a mom, I know she found joy in sharing adventurous, athletic , family time with you kids and I hope you remember that in your sad moments.
Kressyda you will be so missed by me and my children. When we moved to Farmington last year from Texas you welcomed me as you too were from Texas. We both shared the passion of running and our paths crossed because of our children. My daughter Ramona became the best of friends with Olive and in time we grew to know one another. You spent so many lunches sitting with my daughter bringing such joy to her heart. I remember the first time we engaged in conversation and the last time we spoke. My heart truly pulls for this precious family. Father God I uplift Cameron and his children to you. Father God I uplift her parents whom are such a beautiful reflection of Kressyda's heart. Father God I pray that you wrap your arms around this family and extended family and friends. So many moments in life we just don't understand but we know that you Father God are there and will continue to be the strength and the love that will carry this beautiful family through the days ahead. Cameron if you and the kids need anything at all I'm here for you. Continued Prayers. Continued Prayers for Kressyda's parents and children.

I'm devastated to hear of Kressydas passing. I adored her! She had a zest for life and was always so fun and kind. I have fond memories of her from high school and down at BYU. My prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
Thoughts and prayers to this family. My family spends a lot of time on that mountain. Scary and so sad. Frustrating when something like this happens. So sorry for their loss!
