Kravens restaurant is a modern, casual style restaurant that caters to a strong customer base.  The Kravens concept was founded in 2015 by Odetta Semple, who has been crafting the flavors and perfecting the menu items for years.  Born in the South American Caribbean county of Guyana, Odetta was raised in Brooklyn, New York, where food has always been a part of her culture. At the early age of 14 years old, she was placed into the foster care system. Determined not to become a statistic, she found solace in cooking. Odetta's love for authentic foods has inspired her to fulfill her life long dream of opening her own restaurant. Kravens will offer a menu full of dishes prepared with simple fresh ingredients that are inspired by Caribbean and American cooking traditions. 

Odetta studied business management at Interboro College and for the past 15 years she has worked in the administrative field supporting high-level executives that range from non-profit to fortune 500 companies. Over the years she has gained significant knowledge and experience on the daily operation of running a business, managing projects and working with all types of personalities. In Feb 2015 Odetta decided to pursue her dream of sharing her creative cuisine with the world. This is her way of giving back.

Yes, Brooklyn offers a number of Caribbean & American restaurants, but Kravens unique blend is food that will feed your soul. A taste that will linger for days. You cannot get that anywhere else.   This combined with the restaurant’s high level of customer service will bring customers back time and time again. The restaurant will have a casual, inviting feel.  A place where the regulars are known by name and if customers do not have time to sit and enjoy their meal, we are happy to order your favorite dishes to go.

With the goal to bring a unique, authentic, and flavorful restaurant to the Brooklyn, New York area, Kravens will differentiate its products and services through a range of stylistic choices, such as creating a relaxing, yet fun, ambiance while serving food that will truly satisfy the strongest of cravings. 

Patrons may select from a flavorful menu including appetizers, entrees, and side items. The menu will include spectacular dishes such as Caribbean Ginger Jerk Wings, Salmon Patties, Salt Fish Patties, Stew Oxtails, Cook-up Rice, and Steamed Fish just to name few.  Each entree will include side items that each customer may select from, such as Baked Macaroni and Cheese, Jasmine Rice, String Beans, Pasta Salad, Cole Slaw, and Steamed Cabbage just to name a few.

A $50+ contribution will allow you 1 Entrée & unlimited beverage of your choice at Kravens Restaurant. Good for 1 visit that is redeemable 180 days after the grand opening of Kravens Restaurant.

A $100+ contribution will allow you and 1 guest a personal invitation to the soft opening, and you and 3 guests 1 brunch  entrée with unlimited Mimosas at Kravens Restaurant. Good for 1 visit that is redeemable 180 days after the grand opening of Kravens Restaurant.

A $250+ contribution will allow you and 2 guests a personal invitation to the soft opening, and you and 3 guests a three-course dinner, with 1 bottle of wine at Kravens Restaurant. Good for 1 visit that is redeemable 180 days after the grand opening of Kravens Restaurant.

A $500+ contribution will allow you and 3 guests a personal invitation to the soft opening, and a Special Chef’s tasting dinner for 6 with wine and beverage parings. Good for 1 visit that is redeemable 180 days after the grand opening of Kravens Restaurant.

A $1000+ contribution will allow you and 4 guests a personal invitation to the soft opening, and  a dinner party for 10 at Kravens Restaurant, served family style, with plenty glasses of wine and beverage of choice. Good for 1 visit that is redeemable 180 days after the grand opening of Kravens Restaurant.
