Torie Costa

My dearest friend Marnae's daughter Torie Costa (at only 20 Years Old) is batteling stage 4 Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma for the second time. Rhabdomyosarcoma is a type of rare cancer that affects the muscles of the torso, legs and arms. The condition tends to affect mostly teens in which tumors can grow very rapidly. We need your help!!! I have started this campaign to help them pay their bills while Torie and Marnae fight this battle.

Torie was diagnosed back in 2012, she fought an amazing fight the first time and was even cancer free for almost two years. She was able to enroll in college at UNCC and began to live somewhat of a normal life.  Still going for maintenance chemotherapy she was able to grow her hair back and felt really good for a while.

Torie is such an inspiration for how strong and brave she has been through this fight. She is someone who I have watched grow up and blossom into a precious young lady. She does and will continue to encourage so many people to look at life in another light by her amazing strength to fight this disease.

She recently had a relapse. The cancer has come back :( Weaker now, she has began an even tougher fight to battle. Unfortunately, Torie had to withraw out of college. Marnae has been taking her to coutless treatments, surgerys  and medical visits, leaving her with no time to make any income. They are currently seeking alternative treatment (in addition to her current treatments) which are not covered by insurance.

They need help to pay these bills. I want Marnae to be able to be by Torie's side through every part of her struggle. Marnae has been her rock through this tough battle, providing the strength, courage and comfort her daughter's needs. I kindly ask that anyone reading this donate any amount you can give so we can help this beautiful and precious family.
