The Kori Fund (redux)

First, I like to thank those of you who have so generously donated. A special shout-out to some of you that have already given multiple times. All of you, everyone who’s helped, are awesome! It’s heartening to see Kori’s friends and community come together to help someone we all care about. Thank you!

The last round of donations got her through the past six months. As you know, this whole process is taking longer than anyone anticipated at the outset. You may also know that this part of treatment can be worse than the cancer itself. Or feel worse, in any case. She’s mobile and able to get out and about, as cancer patients can be, but she’s also depleted and in pain. And on drugs.

And she still has no income. So please, if you can give again or give for the first time, please do. We have another chance to show Kori how much we care about her. 

Kori isn’t going to bring it up if you talk to her. Even if you ask her she’ll downplay it, but she’s very sick. To be blunt, there’s no guarantee she makes it through this. But I have to say, considering all her health concerns even before she was diagnosed with cancer, she’s got a (somewhat surprisingly) positive attitude. It’s been kinda awesome to see her taking such an optimistic approach to all of this. I’m frankly impressed on how she’s been trying to take care of herself. She can be proud about that.

Please help Kori if you can.
