Troll White Supremacy in your town!

Donation protected

Let's stop White Supremacists from spreading their hate!

If you feel an immediate need to help, but don't know where to start, start here. If you only have two minutes to spare or $1 to give, that is enough! Your help – no matter the amount - can immediately create meaningful change in our efforts to counter-act hate. HateXchange will turn hate into donations. How?

We match every act of hate with a donation that goes directly against the efforts of White Supremacists. This means that for every Nazi that shows up for a White Supremacy march, we donate $1: They will involuntarily raise donations against their own cause.

The funds will be used to help organizations fighting hate, bigotry and xenophobia, and helping those who are looking to leave right-wing extremism groups.

Where it all began and how it works.

It all began in Wunsiedel, a small town in Germany that was tired of Neo Nazis flooding their town every year to march in “honor” of one of Hitler’s deputies who is buried there.

When the regular run-of-the-mill counter-protests failed to achieve their desired effect, the town turned to humor. EXIT Germany - a non-profit organization that fights right-wing extremism - came up with a brilliant, hilarious and non-violent way to troll the Neo Nazis:

Locals pledged to donate for every meter the Neo Nazis marched. Instead of counter-protesting and waving the usual anti-xenophobia signs, the Neo Nazi march itself was put to use in a catch-22 way: Its participants were involuntarily raising money against their own cause by simply marching every single meter of their rally route.

Locals hung and waved fun colorful signs and banners using puns as a play on right-wing verbiage, and the Neo Nazi march was turned into a mock sports event with a start and finish line.

The brave marchers were thanked for their efforts in fundraising against themselves by receiving a certificate of participation.

Who we are: HateXchange is an initiative of C.H.A.N.G.E Inc., a non-profit organization fighting right-wing extremism located in Memphis, TN. HateXchange is the official partner of EXIT Germany and EXIT USA (an initiative of Life After Hate and sister organization of EXIT Germany).

Both EXIT Germany and EXIT USA fight far right extremism, help people leave the White Supremacy movement and help them to change their lives for good. Because the far right is not the right way.

Our goal

Help us raise a starting fund to flip hate the finger and change every act of hate into involuntary donations!

If 500 White Supremacists show up and rally for 3 hours, this will translate into $90,000 they will have raised as a donation that will be used to fight against their own cause!

Even if you can only spare a dollar, that helps! Your money will directly change acts of hate into positive acts:

You will send the message that there is no room for hate in this country.

Every penny goes to fighting extremism!

All funds raised will go to hateXchange to help form campaigns like this in EVERY city White Supremacists show up to march in!
