Hello friends and family, I am starting a GoFundMe campaign for Marcus, my newest patient. He's 45, a local from Huntington Beach. I feel his story is very compelling, and not unlike stories of other mercury poisoned people.
He was an ESL Teacher (English Teacher) teaching around the world for 6 and a half years; he was even in Saudi Arabia for 10 months but now is mercury poisoned to the point of severe debilitation and confined to a wheelchair.
In Saudi Arabia, he had his first seizure and they have not stopped since. He noticed his walking ability declining steadily with balance issues. After some time now, he has become so debilitated that he can no longer work as a teacher and describes his situation as a never-ending episode of The Twilight Zone, only with severe and ongoing health issues.
Marcus began researching his condition, eventually seeing a documentary called; The Beautiful Truth, for the first time understanding he'd been poisoned by mercury gasses from the amalgam fillings in his mouth. Laboratory testing shows him to have one of the highest levels of mercury poisoning I have ever seen as a practitioner.
Marcus has had many dental amalgams from an early age and now realizes that his early anxiety and panic attacks can be likely attributed to mercury poisoning.
Marcus has had his mercury dental amalgams safely removed, but his detoxification system is so severely compromised that he will need detoxification therapy to rid his body effectively of mercury and other heavy metals.
Marcus's nervous system has been so badly poisoned that he has been given a (likely false) diagnosis of MS (Multiple Sclerosis) or at least a diagnosis of MS with mercury as the likely culprit. Marcus is currently wheelchair bound and survives on government assistance and what he makes as an author. He does not have the funds to pay for mercury detoxification or other medical bills.
