Help#KatieStrong Beat Angiosarcoma

Donation protected
We would like to introduce you to our beautiful friend Katie. Katie is only 29 years old.  She is vibrant, loving and a bright shining light to everyone around her. Last month, Katie’s health started to fail. The doctors were puzzled, the tests were inconclusive, and after a grueling 29-day hospital stay, we finally got the answer:  Stage IV Angiosarcoma- Cancer of the blood vessels.

Angiosarcoma is a rare, aggressive form of Cancer that makes up less than 1% of all Cancer diagnoses. This diagnosis has shocked Katie’s friends and family to their core. How could she get so sick, so fast…and where were the signs? We struggle to understand how this happened and why, but we will never know. Instead, we turn our energy into doing something positive: helping raise money for the undoubtedly high medical bills that will soon follow.

At work and at home, Katie spends her time taking care of others and putting her friends and family above herself. She doesn’t do this because she has to, Katie does this because she has a pure and loving heart. Now it’s time for us to help repay Katie for all of the kindness and support that she has given to us over the years. Please help us show Katie how much she is loved and how she has touched our lives by donating any amount you can to be put toward her medical costs.

Right now we want Katie, her boyfriend Courtney and the LaBelle family to focus solely on her treatment and getting her well. She’s currently in the hospital receiving chemotherapy, but we are hoping she will be back home soon with all of her loved ones (especially her beloved fur babies Reese & Nuggitt). With your contribution, we can help take some of the financial burden off of this amazing and well-deserving woman. One month to the day that she received her diagnosis, Katie will turn 30 years old. We would love to be able to share some great news with her on her birthday, so please help us reach our goal!!

If the Angel who helped Katie on the Rt2 off-ramp on Friday, May 27th happens to be reading this, please comment below! Her friends and family would love to say Thank You!
