Milo's Gallbladder Removal Costs

Hello to my friends and fellow animal lovers. As many of you may know, my handsome Milo got really ill fast. We took him to an emergency veteranarian and after x-rays you could easily see he had several stones in his gallbladder plus one particularly large one which was stuck in the bile duct. He had to have emergency surgery to have the gallbladder removed and the only way to remove the stone that was stuck was to go in through his intestines. His surgery was a bit over 2 hours.
These past two weeks have been very rough and stressful, but now he is finally eating again. He lost nearly 4 pounds, that's a lot for a cat. He has medicine that he will have to take for the remainder of his life. He hates taking pills, but now that it is just one per day he can put up with that.
The total cost of the surgery and hospital is $1,090.00 for the emergency room the first night before he was transferred to the hospital. An ultra sound to see the stones location was another $561.00, the surgery itself with 3 nights in the hospital was $5,260.00 and finally to top it off, today was his post op exam $269.00.
The grand total that was financed at high interest is $6,900.00.
We really do need the help or I would never have asked. Any little bit would be greatly appreciated. I wanted a Ragdoll cat all my adult life. I love Milo dearly, he is everything a person would want for a buddy. I'm 60 years old now, he is like my family and I love him so very much.

Thank you so much for understanding. If it were something that was terminal; of course we would have put him to sleep. This was to save his life so he can stick around another 8 years or more.
