Kate & Claire take on Guatemala

On the 8th of January 2016 we (Kate & Claire) leave for Guatemala, Central America to start our Orphanage Volunteering Trip which will commence on Monday, 11th of January 2016. It was an easy decision to choose Guatemala after reading more than 370,000 children are orphans with countless more at-risk.
• 5,000 street children between the ages of 5-14 are in Guatemala City alone.
• There are only 4 government- run orphanages in the country.
• Violence, corruption, abuse, malnutrition are leading problems affecting children.
These gorgeous orphans are truly going to be spoilt with love, affection and knowledge but as we all know they are desperately in need of everyday supplies to live, such as toiletries, clothing, shoes, bedding and the list goes on! What we have for everyday use, is truly the most amazing and special gift to them. The one thing we can never give enough of is LOVE and were so incredibly excited to share ours with the ones who don't have much at all. This is something that is very close to our hearts and the funds will be going to what the children are in need of most ❤️
