Help 40 Kittens: Out of State Bound

Donation protected
Hi everyone!
So as some of you know; kitten season has been HORRIBLE. During one of our TNR efforts; our traps kept going off at the location we been TNR’ing for a while with nothing but kittens after kittens. (This is the elderly lady/hoarder location) we ended with more kittens than actual cats to TNR.

Then took in 3 more; now leaving us with 13 kittens (we had a total of 19 kittens in foster with just me and Christian )

Serina from SGVAA (San Gabriel Valley Animal Advocates) has been amazing helping us out with our fosters, rescue, sick kittens and even our little instagram famous Milly and Figaro. Serina has taken in kitten after kitten never turning her back.

We were lucky enough to have an out of state contact that referred us to a rescue. We contacted them and they said they can take 25-30 kittens! Partnering up with SGVAA and we can start this June. So this is our first EVER rescue transport.

For now they will take kittens 8wks-16wks/2lbs+. However we need to cover the expenses which include Vet Clearence Certificates, SNAP test, at least FVRCP VACCINES.

The van rental + expenses is a lot for us to do. We started making catnip kickers like crazy to get us some funds & Serina has been trying to cover some of the medical expenses.

Right now we need your help to reshare, tag, network and donate if you can. These are 30 kittens that have been lucky enough to not have made it to the shelter. Where many get euthanized, or don’t even get a chance.  Others have survived the street life being born to an unspayed female.

We TNR to help prevent this kitten explosion we are having. Not all are as lucky at the bunch we have. 30 kittens will go to the rescue; while the rest will go to a foster(s) we have as well who is our contact.

Our trip is set to take off June 16 through June 19 making it back to CA. Funds are to help cover vehicle rental/gas/cat food/litter & medical expenses Serina has from buying the vaccines + SNAP test for all the kittens being transported.

SNAP test at a regular vet can be expensive & Serina can get them at a rescue rate. However that is still more than $500 for 30 kittens, not to mention the first round of vaccines that is being required by the rescue that will intake.
