Kitten shot with pellet gun

My 1 year old kitten has been brutally shot and is in a lot of pain. We found her half way up a tree calling for help bleeding and unable to move. We took her to the emergency vet and we had no idea what had happened. Nadia is a sweet and friendly cat that loves to play outside and to be loved. We have 5 kids living in this house and they all adore Nadia. My 5 year old sister, Naomi, includes Nadia in almost all of her drawing at school. The bullet is dangerously close to her spine and internal organs. Without this very expensive surgery she may die or have permanent damage for the rest of her life.
