Cyclone Idai has destroyed about 90% of Beira, Mozambique. The communities  surrounding the 4th largest city in Mozambique have been gravely affected by this devastating hurricane. Given this heartbreaking news, The American International School of Mozambique (AISM) student alumni came together to fundraise for the women and children affected by Idai.

The goal is to ship 500 Kits for Kids which include shorts, two shirts, flip flops and underwear. A kit is an estimate of $16. Thus with $8,000, we aim to ship 500 kits.

The goal for the Kits for Girls is 400 Kits. Each kit includes 3 reusable sanitary pads at an estimate of $5. Hence, $2,000 would help to reach our goal of 400 kits.

Mozambique has been decreed a state of National Emergency. Thus the need for immediate support. Any efforts for donations are welcome.
