It’s sunny. Earth is full of life. Two young men are waiting for their biopsy results in a city hospital in Bulgaria. If you like fairytales, you should stop reading because the moral of this story is different…
Kiril and George’s cases are quite similar. They both have cancer. Kiril has a cancerous tumor on his right hip while George has one on his left hip. They are of similar age. Both have graduated from the same school. They both dream and make plans for the future. And they are planning their weddings. Both have similar carrier paths. They work in the same city.
Time passes. They both go back to the same hospital for a test. Here the similarities end… Kiril’s condition worsened drastically. George got cured.
WHERE’S THE DIFFERENCE?
George’s family was able to pay for treatment while Kiril’s family couldn’t afford it.
If there is a treatment option, what can be done to make it happen?
This question makes me think about the power human beings have: you, the person you meet on the street, and I. All of us hold someone else’s life in their hands. Did you know that?

Kiril had many dreams, but today, he only dreams of being healthy. Can you imagine what he’s going through?

There isn’t such a thing as a small donation. Your $20 can pay for one of the tubes, which are used for his chemotherapies; my $20 can pay for the tampons that stop his bleeding; and my neighbor’s $100 – for a test that needs to be done before surgery.
