Kingston needs a Hero
Jessica Dunning, CEO of PROheros, has always been passionate about dramatic arts and her community. It has always been her dream to one-day combine both of those passions into not just a job but a life long career that could benefit many! With over 13+ years of Musical Theatre experience and an 8+ month internship at Walt Disney World, Jessica hopes to be able to inspire and entertain with the encouragement that anyone can be a hero.
PROheros is a cosplay (costume) entertainment service business. Customers can book a (multicultural and multigender positive) hero of their choosing to entertain at their public or private events. Looking for Black Panther to sing 'happy birthday' to your son? Or Cat Woman to take pictures at your highschool graduation? PROheros wants to service all kinds of events, such as birthday parties, public festivals and even hospital or private care visits! And unlike other 'heroes for hire' we pride ourselves in wanting to give back to the community that is making us a household name! With every booking partial proceeds will be given to local charity - every time!
But for our heros to start helping Kingston, we need your help to get our heros here! The cost of durable yet comfortable super hero suits is not cheap (nor maintaining them)... Along with the production cost for merchandise. Merchandise such as surprise grab bags for parties and merchandise to sell to help fundraise for charities around town.

This is just one example of why we need your help. Along with the production of gifts for our guests; such as colouring comic books of our heros, super hero capes/pins/buttons, merchandise for autographs, cards 'hand written' by our heros. Also costs for photography for our photoshoots and again, suit/costume upkeep.
