Cycle of Blessings – songs by Eric H. F. Law recorded with friends.
Music for Vital Inclusive Community

Eric Law’s songs have been sung by over a million people in Kaleidoscope workshops and worship for over 30 years. It has been a cycle of blessings, giving and receiving, learning and growing. He has included 19 songs in his latest book from Chalice Press, Holy Currencies Exchange – to be released in January 2016. When his editor asked, “How will people who don’t read music enjoy these songs?” Eric’s visionary reply was, “We’ll make recordings!”
The “we” now includes many friends of Eric and supporters of the ministry of the Kaleidoscope Institute:

Katherine Cash & Norm Freeman, N2K Jazz Ministry

Andrew Barnett & Theodicy Jazz Collective

Kim & Reggie Harris
Each of these ensembles has unique gifts, and they are coming together to give inspirational sound to Eric’s songs – old and new. Many old favorites include “The Grace of Our Lord,” A New Heart,” “As the Waters Cover the Sea,” “Those Who Sowed with Tears” and “Like a Mother Eagle.” The new songs that Eric wrote while working on the new book include “The Occupy Song” and “Sustain the Weary” which he shared on his blog. New songs that will inspire vitality include “Come and I Will Give You Rest”, “Forward and Backward,” and “Love Is My Name.”

The songs come from the blessings Eric received working with people all over the world. Now it’s time to share the blessing with inspirational recordings available for download. Eric H. F. Lawʼ s foundational Holy Currencies   (2013) demonstrated new ways ministries can think about the resources needed to do their work in their communities. Ericʼ s follow-up book, Holy Currency Exchange (2016), shares a variety of tools for thinking differently about how those resources can mobilize ministries into new life, mission, and vitality, and this collection of songs is an essential channel for more people to enter into this dialogue and exploration to create sustainable community and ministries
.

We started recording October 29th. Help us get to the final day on December 19th.

We’ve raised 2/3 of what we need with private donations. Time to crowd source so we can share the blessings of music and missional ministry. Our target is $12,000. Share your blessings and donate today and then share with your friends.
