Help a college angler

My name is Michael Gullette and I am a college student at the University of North Alabama and a member of the fishing team. On January 10th 2014 my life was forever changed; while I was at school I got a phone call that my dad had passed away suddenly. The one thing my dad left behind for me was a boat and our fishing memories. I went fishing on January 10th to honor him on the 1 year anniversary of his passing. While I was out the motor blew and it will now cost close to $5000 to repair/replace the motor. Please any help will be appreciated, as a full time student I do not have this kind of money.
