What do you get when you bring together knights, Vikings, a Barbarian, a bakery, and a secluded mountain town? The family friendly Kimberley City Bakery Medieval Festival. For Canada's 150th birthday, we want to put on the biggest and best medieval festival yet!
Each of the last 2 years, we have entertained over 10,000 people. If each person or family donated just $5.00, the festival would be self-sustaining. So if you enjoy the festival, we invite you to make a donation of $5.00, $20.00 or more to help bring the festival to Kimberley for another year. We look forward to seeing you all again this summer on July 8th and 9th for this year's Kimberley City Bakery Medieval Festival.
We have been fundraising in the community, but are hoping to raise more funds from those who will visit the festival in order to bring in our entertainers. This money would be used for:
- Bringing in Vikings groups and knights groups
- Bringing in musicians and other entertainers
- Food for reenactment groups
-Rental of lands, facilities, portapotties, and equipment
- Purchasing new tents in case of inclement weather
-Promotional items/Advertising
-Transportation between the two locations
This festival will only be as big as we can raise funds to make it, but if everyone who enjoyed it gives just a little, we can make it bigger and better than ever! Whether you give online, sign up as one of our sponsors, or drop some money in the donation can at the bakery, every little bit helps us to put on an even bigger festival!
