London's Daycare During Mom's Chemo
Donation protected
At 27 years young, our soon to be daughter-in-law, Stacy, has been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer.
She works full time as a CNA taking care of people. She goes to nursing school full time to learn how to take care of people even better. And up until her recent engagement to our son, she has single handedly taken care of our soon to be grandson, London.
Now is the time for her to let people take care of her.
Faced with a very scary diagnosis, her biggest fear right now is not her mortality, but her son London's life being disrupted during her treatment.
Being out of work will ultimately mean being unable to afford to keep London in his much loved daycare. He enjoys his friends, his routine and the pride he feels each day when he shares his accomplishments. Removing him would mean a step back for him socially as well as an added responsibility at home while Stacy tries to heal.
I would love to surprise them with a few weeks of paid daycare to relieve this portion of stress and allow her to focus on herself.
Both our son and Stacy are unaware of this fundraising endeavor. (update: they are aware of this now and are very apperecitive of all the love and support for London)
Thank you in advance for your thoughts and any help.
