Conchita's Stroke Recovery Fund

On December 14th, 2014 Conchita Barkley, our beloved Circus Chocolates leader, had a stroke. We were all devastated, shocked, emotionally drained. Her right side was left paralyzed. Her entire life taken out of her control in a matter of hours.
The staff at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital have been fighting to normalize her blood pressure and now have her on a regular schedule of physiotherapy to try and regain her motor skills. After a long 45 days, finally some movement! Conchita now has some minor activation in her right leg, bicep, tricep and pectoral muscles. We are absolutely thrilled! The journey home has finally begun. Alas, it will be a long, and expensive one. Our health care system unfortunately only covers a certain percentage of the costs associated with recovery. Marshall and Conchita still have to pay the other percentage of physiotherapy sessions, a wheelchair, medications, home renovations and other as yet unforeseen costs.
This is where we come in to help! The more people we can get this message out to, the more attainable the goal will be, so please help me spread the word to everyone that has ever been touched by Marshall and Conchita's kindness and generosity.
