Kevins medical expenses and funeral

I am a mom of three wonderful children. A lot of you know that when you have children of your own, that you also gain children in the friends that your children have. Kevin is one of those "adopted" kids that was a friend of my daughter, Merina.
A few days ago Kevin walked into the ER complaining of blurred vision and severe headache. While undergoing tests to find the cause, he suffered a hemmorage in his brain. After 2 surgeries to save him, Kevin was pronounced dead this afternoon and will be taken off of life support this evening.  
Kevin's family is devastated by the loss of their son,as any of us would be, but the financial burden only adds to that pain.I know there is nothing I can do to take away the hurt that they are feeling, but maybe we can alleviate some of the finacial burden.
Funds are needed quickly to help pay the cost of the funeral. Medical bills will arrive soon after.
Kevin was such a great kid, we will miss him. It would mean alot to be able to help his family.
