KETO 93.9 FM IS ALMOST READY TO GO ON AIR!!
Community run low power LPFM needs you right now!
We have a spot on the tower. We have an antennae. Now we just need the last piece of critical equipment: the transmitter and studio equipment. This gets the signal from the studio to the tower, and from there gets it out to your radios and computers. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE!
We need to get this equipment purchased and installed in the next month or so. This is critical: First, for our FCC license; and second, it will enable us to do the first-ever live broadcast from our KETO studio

The Federal Communications Commission has granted us a 93.9 FM frequency on the dial and a license to operate -- AND we are on the air September 11, 2017. It took most of the time allotted to get a tower spot and to get other equipment donated (THANK YOU COLORADO PUBLIC RADIO!) We also have received crucial funding from the City of Aurora, especially the Aurora mayor's office, to support installation of the antenna.
KETO-FM is the only broadcast voice for immigrants and refugees in the Denver CO area. Our mission is to provide programming by and for a diverse community of people making Colorado, and the United States, their new home. We are the only place on the dial where these new citizens can hear programming in their native languages, with shows by and for specific immigrant groups. The broadcast services we provide help inform, entertain and educate our audiences.
