David, Caro, and their infant son were in the process of moving when a fire broke out in their apartment.Fortunately they escaped the fire, but both David and Caro are now suffering from burns on their feet and legs. Until their new apartment is ready they will have to stay in a hotel.
At present the greatest challenge is this.....rebuilding everything that was lost in the fire.They will need to replace furniture, clothing, houshold items, toiletries, everything really. I am also concerned about the time Caro may have to take off from work as her feet recieved the most damage.
David Patrick has been extremely active within the Community. His greatest effort starting Bangor Maine's first edible community garden. David and Caro are a young couple starting out, but time and time again I have seen them also look out for others who are in need.
I am hopeful that this reaches to the many who know them personally , so that we can gather together and assist them during this time of great need.
I have set the dollar amount at $5000 but really any amount would help and how can I even put a price tag on restoring what was lost.The need is rather immediate, let's see what we can do over the next couple weeks.
