
Kent Island Tornado Relief Fund

Early on Monday July 24 a F2 tornado tore through Kent Island destroying homes, cars, churches and everything in it's path. Several families lost everything.
CrossFit Kent Island , BayDog CrossFit and True Core CrossFit are partnering to host a fundraiser for the affected families.
Saturday, August 19th please come join us at True Core CrossFit at 10 a.m. for a community WOD, 31 Heroes.
We will be collecting monetary donations as that is the biggest need. Many families are living out of hotels that are not covered by insurance while also paying their mortgage for a house they can't live in right now.
After the WOD, we'll have a community cookout.
Everyone is welcome to come help raise these families up in their time of need, no CrossFit experience necessary!

AMRAP (as many rounds as possible) in 31 minutes to honor the 31 Heroes who gave their lives on August 6, 2011

Like the warriors of our armed services, this WOD is about working together, sacrificing yourself for your teammate, and accomplishing the mission together. Partner 1 performs the workout listed above. Partner 2 runs 400m with a sandbag (45/25). When Partner 2 returns from the run, Partner 1 will grab the sandbag, and begin their 400m run, while Partner 2 continues the workout where Partner 1 left off.
