A college freshman driving to visit home for her mother’s birthday was killed by an alleged drunk driver on Saturday in Lithonia, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Kennedy Segars, 18, was a student at Alabama State University who wanted to be an attorney. Ms. Segars was a proud member of the University’s 2018-19 freshman class. Kennedy was a Honor student at Decatur High School,  Devry University Graduate-Associate Degree and Full Scholarship at Alabama State University. Debutante in Delta Sigma Theta Stone Mountain-Lithonia Alumnae Chapter.
