Ani was a brilliant light in the world. I can remember when she was born, how much joy she brought to both of her parents, Marie McMillan and Osheen (Oshin) Emdjian.
Over the years, as Ani grew, her parents immeasurable love only expanded every day - and they each finally learned what every good parent comes to know... the meaning of unconditional, everlasting love.
Ani was tragically taken from her parents and this earth, on March 26th in a horriffic traffic accident. She was 9 years old.
No parent should ever feel what Marie and Osheen are feeling right now. Their numbness can never be fully translated in to words. How do they face the day? How do they gather themselves to complete even the most mundane of tasks? How do they fake-smile their way through condolences... when the image of Ani is all they can see?
I then wondered, how do they seek and find their new purpose in life? How can we give them a little faith? Well - there isn't much that anyone can do... other than to surround them with love and support. And that is why I have created this page.
Who can even go to work in the aftermath of losing the only person in the world who you have felt was your heart and soul?
If you are someone who happens to know Marie or Osheen... or if you have never met them, but can somehow relate to this extremely saddening tragedy, then I hope that you can find it your heart to donate, even a little, to help them through this terrible time in their lives.
Money will never bring back Ani... but it might help with bills and expenses... while the shock of this loss is fully processed for two people that I respect and love.
