On June 1, 2018, our beloved Keith passed away. He was 42. He fought valiantly and was surrounded by loved ones while easing painlessly and peacefully into his next journey.
Keith was a source of love, light and laughter to all that were blessed to know him. He made it his mission to serve others - doing so through physical care, jokes, music, pranks, laughter and love. His work as an LPN and Preschool Teacher filled his heart to overflowing.
Keith faced life on the basis that humor could heal most anything. Regardless of what others might be going through, he never let up until he had eased their sorrow, worries or hurt. He was loyal to a fault.
We are beyond blessed to have so many people comforting our family with an outpouring of their love and wonderful memories of Keith. It eases the terrible ache in our hearts and the void that has been left by his passing. We are so inspired by how many people his light touched - it is an affirmation of his golden heart.
Keith leaves behind so many loved ones, but most important to him were his children and former spouse. He was so in love, so proud and so amazed by Jon and Ben. He taught them life as best he knew how and encouraged them to no end. He spoke of them to others as though they could fly if they so chose to. They were the sparkle in his blue eyes. Keith thought Laura was the best woman he knew - her strength, commitment and kindness were boundless. From the time they met, up until he passed, they were the closest of friends and always supported each other fully.
Keith would have liked to have a fund set up for his children. He would have liked knowing that they would be cared for in his absence. Medical bills not covered by insurance, as well as funeral costs, have also caused great concern and anxiety. We would like to be able to create his wish.
Any donation to his fund would be so greatly appreciated. Paying it forward was what Keith lived by and we would like to continue that on his behalf.
