Keith Hope Johnson funeral services

March 28th 1998 my brother Keith Hope Johnson was born. A young man who despite having developemental challenges still kept a happy and successful life, he graduated high school June 23rd 2017 at Queens Transition Center. My mother siblings, and I loved him beyond measure, for his kind and loving sprit. Unfortunly on August 23rd 2017th I received a devastating phone call stating that my brother had gone missing while enjoying a summer day at the beach. 1 hr into the search we found out he was still missing at Far Rockaway beach. My family and I knowing that Keith couldn’t swim, immediately started praying. Later on that night the rescuers were able to find and pull him out of the water. Although this didn’t seem promising, we still had hoped, that he could possible pull through! Soon after,  we received the news that Keith Hope Johnson was pronounced deceased. Keith was the  8th brother out of 9 siblings, a loving  Son and classmate  was loved and cherished by many. Times like this we cannot  began to question why this tragiety has happened. When God calls we must go graceiously into his arms. Creating this page has been hard for us, as you could imagine, but the sudden and early death of my brother has called us to ask for financial help. We plan to have a beautiful homegoing for him. Any amount is greatly appreciated and welcomed. Lastly, Lastly, The family and friends of Keith will like to thank all who sent prayers. We will also like to thank all of New York’s finest first responders and St. John’s Episcopal Hospital for their diligent and courageous efforts to save our beloved Keith. Special Thanks to the attending NYPD officers who greeted the family at the hospital.
