Cincinnati is home to one of the great icons of Big Band Jazz - drummer John Von Ohlen. As many of you may know, John has been dealing with medical issues that have resulted in some serious financial hardship. This fundraiser is being put together by some of his friends and bandmates from the Flying Circus Big Band, a Monday night band he co-leads with trumpeter Scott Belck.

As John looks for a new place to live, the members of the Band are holding a benefit Birthday Concert at the Greenwich in Cincinnati with many guest artists and friends from around the country.
