Devastatingly, this week, the school district voted to deny Summit Prep's charter. This means our beautiful school is going to close.
We're fundraising to ensure we can keep our doors open for the rest of the year to make sure our kids continue to get the education they deserve. Summit has consistently outperformed our surrounding schools, and we rate a 10/10 when compared with similar schools in our state.
More importantly, our kids have developed incredible social-emotional skills. They have learned to advocate for themselves. They have built empathy. Summit Prep has given them so much in our four years, and we want to keep it going as long as possible.
Please, please consider giving anything you can - every little bit helps to keep our doors open as long as possible for the rest of this school year.
