Thank you for your support and generosity. We have found out that there was some insurance in place and the financial needs are not as big of a concern. We will go ahead and consider this effort complete. I am making a few changes for privacy reasons to the page, but the original intent and display of support and love remains.
My name is James Hurst and I live in Springville and we were hosting another Japanese Exchange student in the same group as the boy. I am raising money for funeral expenses for his family and for his parent's airfare to the United States and as just a show of compassion towards his family from all of us here in the area. I do not know him or his family, but promise to be in touch with the school putting on the exchange program to distribute the funds to them.
