Logan is a very active 15-year-old young lady. Everyone who meets Logan loves her immediately. Her smile and laughter are infectious. Logan loves baseball, going to the park, swimming, music and dancing.
Logan was born with epilepsy and has global developmental delays. She has never been able to sit up on her own, or hold her head up, or walk independently. She requires 24 hour a day care.
As girls do, Logan has grown considerably over the past couple of years. She is up to 80 pounds! Her mom is strong but is no longer able to safely lift Logan into their van. This has made it increasingly difficult to get Logan out of the house to do the activities that she loves. It has become a safety issue now. We have already had one fall while lifting Logan into her car seat. We are praying there are no more!
Logan desperately needs a wheelchair accessible van so that her mother can continue to give Logan the best life possible.
Logan has received some funding for our wheelchair van conversion, but we still have a way to go. We are asking for donations to help us complete that goal. I promised Logan the best life possible despite her disabilities . Please consider helping us to achieve that goal so that Logan can continue to enjoy living her life out in the community!
