Kathy's Moldova Orphan Work

I've been extremely blessed to go on some awesome mission trips during my years at Valleydale Church and a few from other churches before we relocated to Alabama 20 years ago. I now have the opportunity to go to Moldova this spring and help begin an orphan ministry there. This is a huge opportunity and one that I don't take lightly. I have been praying and ask that you pray along side me for wisdom, health, God's devine appointments with people who need to know Him as their Savior, and both the hearts of the orphans we will come in contact with as well as my heart as I prepare.
Trips like this one can get costly. I need to raise $2,800 to be able to go to Moldova this June. The majority of this expense is in airfare, but it will also cover lodging, food, and ground transportation. The deadline for paying for this trip is June 12, 2016 .
As you know, our family has been very blessed by Emmanuel. If you've never gone overseas and seen the plight of orphans around the world,it's an experience you can't ever get over. Imagine growing up without parents. Never knowing who you really are or where you've come from. Having no legacy and possibly no hope in Christ. This is the plight of orphans. Many age out way too early in life and are forced to find work at extremely young ages. Many have to find other means of survival. Just imagine not having the love of a family. Orphan work is so important to me. Even if it only touches one child for a brief stay, just knowing that one child knows they are loved...not just by me or others on this trip, but by Jesus! This can make a world of difference in the life of a child. Please help me share the hope of Christ this spring with those that don't have this hope or know of His love.
Many of you have helped me in the past be able to go to Jamaica, Uganda, Kenya, Ghana, England and Peru and I am eternally grateful. I'm asking that you help out one more time. Every little bit helps me get closer to the goal of $2,800. Together we can give hope to those who are lost without it and forever change the life of a precious child.
