Wow, life likes to kick sometimes. We are a family in Milwaukie, OR, in serious need. Husband, wife and 2 sons at home.
For the last year and a half, husband has been dealing with serious medical problems, with no cause found yet. Having seen multiple specialists, there has been no fix. His body is losing iron, causing severe anemia, being treated by iron supplements (possible internal bleeding, still not found). This causes extreme fatique and general bad feelings. There is also an issue somewhere in the body causing testosterone issues. Even after a a year and a half, no cause found for this yet and his body is feeling worse and worse. The step being taken now is to crash his body for the next 3-6 months so that further testing can be done, which will make it so he can literally barely move. In addition, blood pressure has been found to be very high and just recently started blood pressure medication. All of the issues are causing a high possibility of a heart attack, and are making work of most any sort very difficult.
In addition, husband recently lost his job, taking away 60% of the household income.
Our home is now in forclosure and will be lost this coming June.
All of this is causing great stress on the home and the marriage. The children are feeling the tension and stress, the wife is having the stress of taking care of her husband and trying to deal with her own life stresses, and now the house, and the husband wants to take care of his family, keep their home and make sure bills are paid and food is on the table.
Right now, just over $11k is needed to save the house (yeah we got multiple months behind :-( ), and extra money just to help get by while husband is going through this "testing" time with the dr's.
Please, please help in any way you can. Anything and everything is greatly appreciated. This will save our "lives", our family and our marriage.
